Google launched a series of web videos on YouTube this week entitled “Fast. Forward“. It’s meant as a series of thought leadership videos around marketing as it stands today, digital marketing, and the future of marketing. Many of these videos should not be big news to many marketers (digital is the future, marketers have to become content publishers, more measurement, etc.), but there are some really good nuggets in each of them worth exploring.

I really enjoyed the video below, The Future is Now: Digital Video, especially the introduction of the video with a news story, from what appears to be the mid to late 80′s talking about how “newspapers will someday be on computers, but they are too expensive now to really compete with traditional newspapers” and a reporter saying, “we don’t expect to lose too much money with the digital newspaper”.
