I have long found that the best developers often share an interest in music.  Given our technical bent, this interest is commonly fed by electronic music.  If you are like me, you have spent many “off” hours playing with the great products offered by Propellerhead Studios, like Reason and Recycle.  If that kind of thing floats your boat, be sure to check out Audiotool at Hobnox.  This project offers a very Reason-like interface and can draw you in for hours of audio experimentation.  Give it a try here.

If Audiotool seems a little overwhelming to you, check out Andre Michelle’s ToneMatrix project.  It is a little less intricate, but is still good for interesting audio experimentation.
