When I first moved to Chicago I was taken by the architecture and history (as I was in Detroit). Daniel Burnham celebrates 100 years of the Plan of Chicago and down State Street there’s a bunch of really cool looking, silver-backed posters in the flower beds. Check them out if you’re down there.

    Don, I agree. These posters are cool. Burnham was an amazing architect and was a huge influencer in Chicago. The novel, Devil in the White City, is about the planning and development of the Chicago Columbian Exhibition from the late 1800′s and talks a lot about Burnham and his contributions to the city of Chicago. I highly recommend this book.
