In addition to iStockphoto, I’ve stumbled across BrightQube. Not only does it feature a lot of stock for cheap, its interface is different and interesting. Not exactly intuitive, but… Different.

If you’re looking for even cheaper cheap stock (like free), check out MorgueFile. Yours truly has a heap of photos there and it’s saved a ton of money, especially for my personal stuff. A morgue file is a old term photographers used for discarded images. Instead of pitching those useless digital photos you have laying around, consider uploading them. Someone will put them to good use. My photos have appeared online, in newsletter and on websites — all over the world — with a photo credit. It’s fun!
